Dogu Express (Ankara-Kars Train)

The main line service between Ankara and Kars is Dogu Express, a diesel-loco-hauled overnight train running daily.

Due to Baskentray project, the train will run between Irmak and Kars starting from 11th of July 2016 until December 2017. There’ll be connected bus services from Ankara Main Station. Click for details.

Suggestions

Ankara Station is main station for eastbound trains. But stations is temporarily unavailable to all trains except high speed trains. There’s bus connection to Irmak Station for all eastbound trains (click for details).

Kars Station is walk-distance from city center. Take care of cold and ice during winter.
